On Earth Day, ten movements to watch in the fight for climate action 

After more than 50 years of Earth Days, the Climate & Capital team took a look at the movements using new and creative tactics to take on climate change.  In the early 1970s, organizations such as Greenpeace, the Sierra Club and the World Wildlife Fund (now the World Wide Fund for Nature) were focused on fighting for clean air and water, stopping whaling and nuclear testing and protecting biodiversity.
