Chad is vice president of investor relations and ESG Strategy for Hannon Armstrong (NYSE: HASI), a leading investor in climate change solutions. In this position, he is responsible for leading the company’s engagement with debt and equity investors, equity analysts, ESG rating agencies, and other ESG-related organizations. He also manages the development of quarterly earnings, annual report, and ESG communications to the public markets and the company’s Board of Directors. In addition, he leads the company’s philanthropic efforts and supports the firm’s capital markets and policy strategy efforts. 

Before joining Hannon Armstrong, Chad served in multiple roles, including structured finance, risk management, investor relations, and ESG strategy with TerraForm Power (an affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management). 

Currently, Chad serves on the Board of Blue Forest Conservation and is a member of the New York Stock Exchange’s ESG Working Group. He holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, an MA from the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies, and a BA from the George Washington University.
