Euan Munro joined Newton Investment Management as Chief Executive Officer in June 2021.

Munro spent seven years as CEO of Aviva Investors and as a member of the Aviva PLC Group Executive Committee. Prior to that he was a macro investor at Standard Life Investments for eighteen years, where he developed their Global Absolute Returns Strategies capability.

Munro holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Physics and Electronics from the University of Edinburgh and an Advanced Management Certificate from Wharton Business School. He is also a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
